Watching the weather channel and how coastal areas will be under water soon.. Disney

would be wise to pick up and move its "land" to the center of the country... Just saying... forget DeSantis and group.. let them have the swamp... oh hell sell all that property to the Trumpers who want to live close to their hero.. and take the profit and rebuild any aging exhibits closer in.

The panhandle is on the Gulf, won't it go underwater too? Irish_Dem Apr 2022 #6
Not really, no. Only areas immediately near the coast. Here's 6m/19' sea rise Roland99 Apr 2022 #7
Looks like a little bit. I am surprised, it is on the water. Irish_Dem Apr 2022 #8

Have for years been warned about climate challenges to our state. A thunderstorm brings flooding of the streets n the infrastructure can’t handle it. Water levels rising already have real problems in the Keys. Just our quality of drinking water is in trouble..boil water notices more n more now. Instead of putting any effort into Real problems, our Governor pics fights w/ teachers, the cruise lines, and now Disney. He has consolidated the legislatures w/ spineless “yes” people n taken voters’ voices out of the process. My family came here over 100 years ago..I’d be the first to get out but where to go?

It's also increasing storm strength and soil erosion.

There's a reason home insurance prices are skyrocketing in Florida. I've heard some quotes as high as $14,000 a year on a $400,000 home.

Insurance doubled! I have family in Florida and for the past 40 years I would get a hurricane prediction and this year, for the first time my brother said he is nervous about this year’s hurricane season.

And there’s no way they can just “pick up” and leave. I don’t know why people persist with this line, it’s never going to happen.

What they can do, is use their massive influence to get rid of Assface.

At the same time, they helped put that bastard there in the first place. So, while I love Disney, they kind of fucked themselves. You hang with fascists, eventually they’re going to bite you.

After all, they are the ones who put the dictator into power.

Guess American oligarchs are going to learn the same lesson as the Russian ones.

Establish a hard border to control northward migration and seal off the Great Lakes region.
