Whenever you receive an email from someone or some group that you don't want, just highlight it and call it "spam." Your email server should delete it and make sure you never get it again. Some are better than others, but my Yahoo email is pretty good about that.

Another thing you can do is open the email - don't click on any of the links. Look on the bottom of the email if there's an "Unsubscribe" button. You can Unsubscribe and they're supposed to take your email off their list. Again, some are better than others, and you can't always rely on them to do it promptly.
