I imagine it will shake out in a variety of ways. But, I for one will be very happy to see less tweets posted here and see that as an improvement of things.

at least in my mind. Potential suitors need transparent financial information, and at least a few days' accountant forensics to understand the company and structure a potential bid. This is so quick it's almost like a private sale.

The problem is the Press, which uses Twitter as quotes and constantly publishes them.
I don't have a twitter app and don't use it. But it will be hard to ignore all the Trump tweets when Musk puts him back on. They will be repeated everywhere.

...there's already a right wing army there.

What good would it do to leave that public platform to them? I'd think that would increase their influence more than anything else.
