Don't get me wrong - I'm absolutely here for the drama of it all. A platform where 90% of the posts comes from 3% of the users is somehow this stalwart of all democracy, and this is the worst thing ever.
It's a thing for people glued to social media all day, certainly. Not sure why anyone else would care.
I know I care because it's funny as shit. I cannot believe I have no popcorn in the house for this.

(38,958 posts)I don't see it as influential at all. I see it as mostly BS and that is my charitable take on it. Happily I don't have a Twitter Account as I never saw it as that terribly important. My hope is that it will result in fewer Twitter linked posts here and I can only see that as beneficial to the discussion, separating more of the chaff from the wheat.
