About an hour before that tornado hit. It was a beautiful spring day. My husband had played a golf thing with his uncle in Wichita. We didn’t find out what happened until we got back to Kansas City.

Edit to add: I think the 1991 storm was an F4 or an F5.

is the right thing to do. It's actually one of the worst things to do -- it acts like a wind tunnel. You're much safer in a ditch. They were very lucky that the tornado just sideswiped them.

ABC/CBS/NBC have been taken over by the local stations in Wichita.
Remember the 1991 tornado real well, lived in Wichita then.

As far back as 2004. He has yelled in every single tornado video. Personally I can't stand the guy.
