... would be Roberts cobbling together some compromise that preserves most of Roe. Roberts is supposed to be very aware of SCOTUS's public stature and doesn't like rocking the boat too much. But it appears that he's failed, and the writing was on the wall when SCOTUS didn't immediately strike down the Texas bounty hunter law.
