But then, you'd think a Bar Association rating of "not qualified" would have done that, so dream on.

I cannot believe that the Senator from Maine was so naive.
The nominees lied in front of her, then she lied to us.
I live in Texas and I know about ours.
But at least I know what Im getting.

(7,859 posts)and never forget this is Mitch McConnell's court.. only two reasons he tolerated Trump: (1) skewing the USSC to the right (2) tax cuts for the ultra wealthy/big business..as for Collins and Murkowski...they are seasoned pols not gullible fools..they lie and are lied to and they knew this was coming, hell, we all did, but this Alito leak caught them embarrassed and guilty...no time to fine-tune bullshit press releases justifying their disastrous votes to confirm unqualified incompetents...
