8. Actually, some on the farther left are more like many of the MAGA crowd

than they are the large mainstream left. Different claimed ideology, but similar attitudes and behaviors. The more extremist, the more like each other. (Remember "Lock her up"?) And a lot of people have become increasingly extremist over this issue.

Notably, Roe reflects a mainstream, science-based cutting of the gestational term (baby) in two, before and after the age of viability to protect both life and women's rights. It was once strongly supported by a large majority.

Roe is now despised and rejected, though, by both those who claim a second life begins at birth and those who claim only the woman's life and rights exist while the fetus is in the womb. Those are both the two farthest possible extremes, and both have become rallying cries for religious-strength zealotry that admits no middle ground.

So, yeah. When extremism and extreme passions are rampant, tall fences.
