Her mother has been in a lousy nursing home for a while now, and she just found out today the nursing home is being shut down. But she is poor and in need of items (like bedding) so she can bring her mother home. She's been trying to do this for some time but the matter has become urgent now that the nursing home is being shut down.
Probably the easiest way to donate if her gofundme:

There is also an amazon wish list (needs the items marked "for mom"]

(21,577 posts)Amazon says this:
If the order was marked as a gift at the time of purchase, the packing slip won't show prices. It will show only the buyer's name, the billing address, the products included in the shipment, and the gift note (if applicable).
I found a site that says this:
"Youll see the names and addresses of people who have contributed or bought items from your registry, if your guests have opted into sharing their information."
So honestly I have no idea how to "opt into (or out of) sharing information". I know gofundme is anonymous if you would like to go that route.
Please keep us posted.
