This certainly screams Pro Life (oh, and it's not a qult)

A wealthy GOP insurrection leader paid thugs to attempt vehicular manslaughter as part of the "voter fraud" cover story for their coup d'état.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2022/05/06/hotze-texas-recording-ballots/

GOP donor described botched vote fraud probe in recording, prosecutors say
The call discussing a "citizen’s arrest" occurred days before an investigator working for donor Steven F. Hotze’s nonprofit in Houston

Hotze claimed that private investigators funded by his nonprofit group had been trailing a mysterious white van as it shuttled phony ballots around the city in an effort to rig the upcoming election. He asked if federal authorities would help stop the van and apprehend its driver, but he added that one of his hard-nosed investigators was prepared to do the job himself, according to the filing by prosecutors in Harris County that included a transcript of the exchange.

“In fact, he told me last night, ‘hell … the guy’s gonna have a wreck tomorrow night. I’m going to run into him and I’m gonna make a citizen’s arrest,” Hotze told the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Ryan Patrick, a Trump appointee, who recorded the conversation.

Two days after the call, the private investigator Hotze had named ran a white van driven by an air-conditioning repairman off the road in Houston and held the driver at gunpoint during a futile search for forged ballots, county prosecutors allege.
Police have said the man was innocent. His truck contained repair parts.

Over my lifetime I have answered to two people who had delightful ways of saying "You done good."

One was a prof in college whose phrase was "Everything you do is perfect."

One was another college prof, but I wasn't a student then but a junior colleague. Hers was "You get to go to heaven without doing anything else."

Please accept both.

And his so called “non profit” domestic terrorism organization needs smashed in a RICO Action and its assets seized. 😡Loss of money and prison time is the only appropriate remedy as the man who was the innocent victim could easily have been killed and if these bastards aren’t criminally held to account the next time that may very well happen. Same for the other group of terrorists that tried to run the Biden Harris bus off the road.

they are only pro birth.
Life means things like having food and shelter as well as good healthcare and I bet you most of the pro lifers would balk at helping provide that.

I would take it one step further they are not pro-birth but pro-forced-birth.

If they were merely pro-birth, they would ensure all domestic women (You know, like that domestic supply of infants Alito so wants.) would have safe, sanitary and inexpensive facilities to give birth in. It's no coincidence that we have abortion clinics and safe, sanitary and inexpensive abortion centers (Well we did, but those facilities have been ever shrinking and the idiot Supremes made sure they were targets for radical attacks when they allowed protests within reach of the front doors.)

But why no Birth Clinics? You really don't need expensive hospitals or maternity wards to give birth in. Safe, sanitary and inexpensive birthing facilities throughout the US would need funding. The so called pro-birthers would need to put their money where their mouths are. But they don't. At most they have propaganda centers where they try to manipulate women into not having abortions.

The religiously insane just want us all to believe their magical sky daddy gives human fish like fetuses souls the moment they wiggle their tiny tails. And then force all women to carry the fetus to birth because you know a god, no one has any believable evidence for, told them.

Nothing happened to them either. But the campaign had to can off its event because staff were so shaken. This act of road terrorism occurred on I35, one of the most heavily traveled interstates in the area with most vehicles driving at least 70 mph (most more—Texas drivers are speed demons). The attempt to run the bus and some cars off the road could have resulted in major crashes and even death. The police simply said it wasn’t their problem. Texas laws seem only to apply to Democrats these days with Abbott and his fellow criminals in charge.

.... with "vehicular homicide".

Both are in legal jeopardy, both criminal and civil. And should be. But "vehicular homicide" is tweet-bait.

Never having heard of this twitter tweeter, I looked him up and found this description in Slate from some time ago:

Garland is not a political expert. He describes himself instead as a “futurist, strategist, author, bassist.” His personal site carries the tag line “Track the trends. Explore the scenarios. Make the strategy. Rule the world” and urges you to sign up to his mailing list and “become a trend insider.” He sells executive training courses and offers himself as a keynote speaker at prices from $10,000 to $25,000 and above per speech. These speeches have titles like “The Next Narrative: Branding in a Fast-Changing World” or “The WTF Economy.” He’s a charlatan, a snake-oil salesman, peddling sleek gibberish to people who’ve never read a book without “… and how YOU can profit” in the subtitle; in any true meritocracy he’d be putting his strategic skills to work hawking trinkets by the roadside. And it shows.

They're so Orwellian they'd make Big Brother blush. In fact, it's usually best to think the opposite of what they're name suggests.

Pro Life? That's just an emotional cover for the subjugation of women. Putting women back where they think they belong.

Freedom Caucus? Absolutely not about freedom in any way, shape or form since democracy really isn't they're thing. They're no more freedom loving than early 20th century fascists.

Moms for Liberty? Of course not. They simply want to impose their warped world view on everyone's children by turning public schools into "grooming" parlors for future fascist trash like themselves.

A Houston police captain whose botched raid of drag racers last summer sparked a public uproar was fired Wednesday.

Police Capt. Mark Aguirre, commander of the Aug. 18 raid in a Houston Kmart parking lot and a 23-year veteran of the police force, is already under indictment on five counts of official oppression in connection with the case.
.....
Police found no evidence of drag racing the night of the raid, but they arrested more than 270 people in the department store's parking lot and those of a nearby Sonic Drive-In and James Coney Island restaurants.

Many of those arrested were restaurant customers, and they were charged with curfew violations and trespassing.

All charged were dismissed and expunged, but I'm sure they were hit with vehicle towing fees.
