Besides the issue of privacy lets look at what the fascist party will do if they gain power

Voting Rights.....not much there any more.....

Social Security / Medicare....want to sunset it every 5 years, basically just remove it from the books....

OSHA.......don't need any stinking labor laws to protect workers....

Clean Water/ Air/ Food....use the shadow docket to attack the EPA and the USDA ( note) USDA is the center for about everything that happens in this country seriously.....

NHTSB.......don't need oversite on bridges or highways just privatize them for greed.....and vehicle safety, nope don't need them ....

FAA.....don't need any government entity for public air safety privatize that also......

Attack anyone that is not like them on marriage, human rights for example...... and then pass laws just banning everything that is not aligned in to creating a theocracy state........

And if anyone can add to this have at it....

They will end free public education in a heartbeat so that we produce tons of babies who have no education or health care so lots of them get sick or die. They are desperately poor and ignorant so will work for next to nothing. Nothing will be done to protect them, so lots will get sick or injured and with no affordable medical care, they languish and eventually die. All laws will only apply to the working & poor classes along with minorities and women and the rich barons can do anything and everything to us they want and we will have no recourse.

This is the rights' wet dream and what the Federalists have been working for since the birth of our country.

Repubs need to breathe, drink and eat in order to survive. They cannot privatize that stuff easily without a massive inflation spiral which reduces the wealth of the oligarchs. The other items don't impact them as they can simply use their wealth to circumvent those things. Not so with air, water and food.

Their money can buy them expensive filter systems, hydroponic foods, huge indoor emersive systems that can seem like they're outdoors, access to secluded pockets of remaining ecosystems where they can actually experience outdoors the way their grandparents might have been able to.

They are just putting off the inevitable for themselves, but they don't care so long as they can remain comfortable and pretend they have nothing to do with climate change.
It might affect their grandchildren, but as long as it doesn't affect them right now, they don't care.
