Message the company and point out that it is dangerous to collect this information.
Even if you do not menstruate any longer or you are male. I never really believe that this information is private.
I don't really care who knows how many steps I've walked in a day, but these apps try to do way too much.

But companies like Huawei compile their own code and inject their own adds.
China is a security risk. Period.

But one of the biggest privacy freaks on the net is touting de-googled android as the safest, most secure phone.
You can Google it. Kind of ironic.
A lot of phones have weaknesses inserted by carriers. Not sure that is unique to Android, but apple may keep a shorter leash on them.
As on computers, be careful what apps you install. It is the apps that use the exploits.

My response was that I'd have to turn on the phone/computer, wait for it to boot up, open the app, and then register the number, rather than just picking up my pencil and making the line just a little bit longer. Sometimes the less tech the better.
