It a comical thing we do.

The first time I called him was 40 years ago.

At that time he asked, “why are you calling me on Mother’s Day?”

I responded, “because you are a real mother!” (I left out the next obvious word)

He immediately cracked up, and a hilarious family tradition was born!!!

My wife says 'thank you for those 8 wonderful children'.

His reply: 'my pleasure!'
