Too bad the Supreme Court doesn't have a Mike Pence to reel in the real crazies.

Does everyone realize what Clarence Thomas is trying to do to the Supreme Court? How long has he had the opinion that Stare decisis doesn't matter and it's a Supreme Court judge's obligation to seek fresh ground?

I can almost buy the seeking fresh ground, but coming out of his mouth I don't have any confidence that he is capable of putting legal reasoning above political motives.

Bottom line, are we there yet? Are we at a point where the Supreme Court is so far gone, lost its compass, and is now become an antagonizing force, threatening our Democracy?

Roberts turned a blind eye to Ginny and Clearance the whole time. Now he's caught in the undertow and can't do anything about it. Will he punish the leakers if it's an Associate Justice? No, he'll rap their knuckles with a scroll of paper and say "Don't do that!"

Court's been gone since about 2012. It just wasn't obvious enough to notice.

Does not like confrontation, so there are no guardrails in the Supreme Court.

And like that show, "Just go with it," he would prefer to pretend that everything is normal, everything's fine.

His lack of intervention is allowing his Court to sink further into the mud.
