Dems need way better messaging on inflation. It's mostly because Biden's economy is too hot

Of course much of it is because supply chains got screwed up during the pandemic and things still need to stabilize, but having a hot economy makes the existing issue worse.

In the short term, high inflation can be the result of a hot economy — one in which people have a lot of surplus cash or are accessing a lot of credit and want to spend. If consumers are buying goods and services eagerly enough, businesses may need to raise prices because they lack adequate supply.

Our response to the high inflation issue should always be that Biden's doing too good a job with the economy.

And I know we are better off than a lot of people. Everything has skyrocketed. Food, gas, heating, electric, property taxes, prescriptions. Things are very tight right now.

I blame corporate greed for a lot of it.

12. Oil prices have not increased a penny more in US than elsewhere

If gas prides get 11 cents per gallon more expensive here we can just buy it elsewhere. It costs about 11 cents
per gallon to ship a gallon on an oil tanker 3000 miles. So US prices can never get even 11 cents more. This chart shows our oil prices have risen exactly the same amount as in every other country. The price in Oklahoma is labeled wti. In Europe Brent , in Dubai opec. https://www.statista.com/statistics/326017/weekly-crude-oil-prices/
