Macron ruled out Ukraine joining the European Union in the short term. He said joining the EU would likely take Ukraine decades, unless we decide to lower the standards of this membership and therefore to completely rethink the unity of our Europe.

I've read that the French left is now going to unite to fight Macron and the right in the upcoming parliamentary election. It's just a tragedy that they couldn't unite before Macron was reelected.
he is a right wing politician so i expect nothing less... last election was right vs. far right.
