Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation establishing the day during a news conference at the Freedom Tower in Miami on Monday.

DeSantis said the legislation requires the state’s public schools to observe the day and educate students on “the evils of communism.”

During the news conference, DeSantis also approved $25 million to support repairs and renovations to the Freedom Tower and the renaming of three roads for Cubans who fought against Fidel Castro in Cuba.

Requiring schools to educate on the evils of communism could include exposing the republican attempt to overthrow a democracy on January 6th, those individuals and corporations financing the revolution, and how socialism works. Marx described three necessary phases ...

Phase 1: A revolution must take place in order to overthrow the existing government. Marx emphasized the need for total destruction of the existing system in order to move on to Phase 2.
Phase 2: A dictator or elite leader (or leaders) must gain absolute control over the proletariat. During this phase, the new government exerts absolute control over the common citizen's personal choices — including his or her education, religion, employment and even marriage. Collectivization of property and wealth must also take place.

The Supreme Court is exerting absolute control over personal choices. Both the majority opinion and its author epitomize a communist takeover. I'm not suggestion that republicans have deep ties to Russia and want the economy to move towards socialism, but there has to be some reason they are promoting their plans through public school systems. Is the takeover complete? Has DeSantis exposed the plan like that of a coke fueled orgy?

On the Florida website Florida HB 395 does say that. What it also says is underlined below:

"Victims of Communism Day": Requires Governor to proclaim November 7 of each year as "Victims of Communism Day"; requires day to be observed in public schools & by public exercise; requires day other than November 7 to be observed by public schools under specified circumstance; requires high school students to receive specified instruction; requires SBE to adopt specified revised social studies standards.

It's the specified instruction and specified social studies standards that are conveniently glassed over by the very same people outraged by CRT.

if they taught about the evils of our country's version of capitalism. Stepping on everyone on your way to the top and taking all the money you can with you, is not a system that should make one proud. Our country is gross.
