11. The MAJORITY of voters

They figured out about 20 years or so ago that they could rule with the support of the minority. They don't need the support of the majority. 30% is about all they need. The constitution creates a system where McConnell controls 50% of the Senate with 30% of the population. By 2040 30% of the population will control 70% of the senate, and therefore the Supreme Court and the EC.

A country governed/ruled by a 30% minority is a government ready for complete collapse. The fundamental understanding and social contract is that in a democracy, the minority consents to being governed by the majority. What is coming is not only the opposite, but will be unacceptable to the majority and one way or another they will assert their authority. Unfortunately, usually through civil war or violent revolution.

They know the SCOTUS will bless their every anti-woman law. They saw Alito's anti-woman screed and now they can't contain their glee in their hate any longer.

"Oh, yeah?! Well, I'll see your ban on contraceptives and raise you a law against all sex outside of marriage!"

"Oh, really?! I see you and raise YOU a law making women wear a chastity belt! That's right! A chastity belt!!! Try to top that one!"

Hillary — as usual — spoke the truth when she referred to a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy working to take down her husband (and herself, was left unsaid, but we saw it).

She was laughed to scorn and mocked like there was no tomorrow. But she was correct.
