Wrecked Russian fighter jets are being found with rudimentary GPS receivers "taped to the dashboards" in Ukraine because their inbuilt navigation systems are so bad, the UK defense minister said.

Speaking at the National Army Museum in London on Monday, Ben Wallace commemorated those who died in World War II and called Russia's invasion of Ukraine "senseless and self-defeating."

He also said there was evidence suggesting Russian military hardware was being pushed to breaking point by the invasion of Ukraine.

"'GPS' receivers have been found taped to the dashboards of downed Russian Su-34s so the pilots knew where they were, due to the poor quality of their own systems," he said.

"The result is that whilst Russia have large amounts of artillery and armor that they like parading, they are unable to leverage them for combined arms maneuver and just resort to mass indiscriminate barrages."

4. IMO, another reason Putin invaded Ukraine,

was to damage president Biden once Russia took over the country in 3 days. Statements like Trump made at the beginning of the invasion, bragging on Putin, tells me that Trump was complicit.

Think about what would have happened had Putin taken over Ukraine in 3 days. The narrative would have been that president Biden was weak. The narrative coming from Trump would have been that Putin never invaded Ukraine while I was president.

Something happened on the way to the opera; Putin and Trump severely underestimated president Biden. President Biden kept NATO and our allies united which is now making Putin look weak.

President Biden to this day does not get enough credit for helping Ukraine stave off Russia.

One big reason that Putin invaded Ukraine was to take out president Biden and return his puppet Trump back in power. I am certain of this. Once Putin, through Trump, destroyed our democracy, other democracies would follow suit.

But Putin had to be planning this for longer than Joe’s been in office. Of course Trump has made the claims you posted. This war is barely on Fox News - waaaay to embarrassing for both Trump and their hero (not Obama) Putin.

If I remember right, pics some of the pilots took of themselves while flying missions in Syria showed them using off the shelf GPS receivers as well.
