GOP launches Operation Stop Barnette
Kathy Barnette's late surge has forced the Oz and McCormick campaigns and their allies to scramble in the final days before the Senate primary.

PHILADELPHIA — For months, Dr. Mehmet Oz and David McCormick barely laid a glove on Kathy Barnette.
There was no point.
They’d made the calculation that Pennsylvania’s closely watched GOP Senate primary was a two-man race. After all, they had the most money, the highest name ID, and a dominant position in the polls.
But in the last 48 hours, the Oz and McCormick campaigns and their allies have been suddenly forced to recalibrate as Barnette has surged to the front of the pack. In a sign of how seriously they take her rise, both men have gone on the attack against Barnette on conservative media outlets, while their allies have scrambled to disseminate opposition research and prepare anti-Barnette ads.
Even former President Donald Trump, who has endorsed Oz, decided Thursday that it was time to throw up a roadblock. In a statement, he cast doubt on her electability in the critical battleground state that could determine party control of the Senate: “Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats.”

BTW, I saw a familiar name on an interview on "All In" on MSNBC earlier this week! I looked for the video, but it wasn't uploaded, they had a substitute host. Just wanted to let you know that I saw it and she was so very good, you have every reason to be proud! 
Her name was right there during her interview, so DUers would have been sure to recognize it. If you do get anything post-worthy, please post the video. I think I posted a Katy Tur video just today, so it could be available on YouTube. 
And grown kids never get over some things, too - My own Dad died way too young, but I still hope to make him proud of me. *sigh*
And yes, I've gotten so I post mostly videos, I figure that a lot of DUers won't bother to click on the link to read the news, but we're used to watching the news, so I post the videos for those that don't have cable - or even TV.
So please let me know if you find/post the video. She did so well that it's bound to be popular here. And the one who loved crab cakes was my Dad, I can remember him ordering them when we visited my uncle (his brother) who worked in D.C. I'd love to have some in his honor...
