When the prospect of starving immigrant babies

Is NOT discussed by the media as abhorrent, horrific, despicable and evil, but is rather reported on the basis of whether it is, or isn't a "winning strategy", then we have not only crashed through the looking glass, we are using the jagged shards to slit our wrists.

We have either fallen far, or this is always who we've been.

I am leaning toward the latter.

People that we went to church with, broke bread with and considered friends or family, are really nothing but "horrific fucking people
