It hasn't been doing it as exponentially as how Omicron's earlier B.1.1.529 variant overtook Delta's BA.1.617.2 -

And then BA.2 started making headway -



but it has been a steady increase nonetheless.

CDC has been reporting an overall ~9% positivity rate in the U.S.
