I used to donate blood. Then I switched to platelets. Last week was my 75th donation. It is a good feeling that even though I'm fighting my own dementia, I can help others in my retirement. I'm a triple donor per visit BTW.

I used to be a nurse who worked with platelet donors. It's a great job and so worthwhile. I used to donate as well.

new pacemaker. With a slow pulse I got really dizzy doing platelets.
