8. I hate the fact that they got to travel to meet

Zelenskiy. I know that McConnell gave a supportive speech for the $40 bn; I'm not saying that he didn't. But, I don't trust any Republican to take up Zelenskiy's time without trying to give him war advice, like, "Surrender!" I think that the GOP received Russian money, and that's what I see when images like this are published.

Now, I don't think that Zelenskiy is a fool. I just don't see the reason for those Repubs to travel into a war zone just to meet this tough Ukrainian president, who has to suck up to the world on behalf of his people in order to be winning this war. I think that probably Zelenskiy just told them that he needs money to win, or they will fight to the last citizen standing. I would love to know what was said by McConnell, because I see no purpose in this meeting. What, he wants to see Zelenskiy beg for munitions? Or, he just wants to be able to say that he met Zelenskiy, like you do when you meet a favorite celebrity? Did he think he was going to negotiate peace between Ukraine and Russia?

Or, did he want a personal Thank You for the supportive speech he gave? See, it sucks to be Mitch because you can't act like Mitch did for the last 5 years and suddenly come out without smelling like a Trump. It sucks to be Mitch, and please don't give any advice to Ukraine.

I'd like to meet Zelenskiy, too, we all would--but, not while he is managing this blasted war. Send in the Dog.
