Had a thought about media bias and hate mongering

I read about what the r media is saying about politics, current events etc, and it makes me sick. I get angry, but I never get angry enough to go pick up a gun and attack someone. I was getting ready to tune into MSNBC and wondered. Is the news we listen for and get opinions about reported differently so we don't get as angry as the right wing does? Or are liberals really just more advanced in their emotional and cognitive responses?

I am stuck wondering how people can be so hateful , so murderous, so inhuman, and I just don't understand.
