shooting. The NRA gets more business.

We are not safe anywhere and there are times I think about getting a gun. I don't think I could ever shoot anybody but damn shootings are out of control.

Even in self-defense you definitely should not buy a gun.

That is the first question a person considering buying a gun for protection should ask themselves.

I think well meaning, sane people should attack the nonsense of the Second Amendment as it is now being interpeted.

Because in one instance where a shooter was wearing a bullet proof vest the guard failed to kill him? What logic...

But the good should not be the enemy of the perfect. Guns are useful for protection. A seat belt and air bag may not help much if you run your car into a brick wall at 80 mph. But they help in most cases.

until Sandy Hook. I still mourn every time another shooting happens. I feel that, given my age, I will die without seeing an end to such gun violence.
