The professor did not even respond to say no, just ignored the guy completely. The minister looked like a fool for continuing to try to debate the topic. He gave up and that was the end of trying to get creationism in the public schools.

Carlson gets paid millions of dollars to talk about beliefs and policies that he may not even fully support. There are people who know Carlson who say that he isn't really as extreme as he portrays himself to be. That, in my opinion, is even worse than a "true believer". Essentially, Carlson knows his ideas are shit, but he will keep putting them out there because that is how he makes his living and his reputation.
