This time a member of congress, Loudermilk is his name. Giving tours of the capital the day before the attack. Then he lied about it. Don't have all the details yet but they must have solid evidence. I have been trying to convince many people here the committee is going to blow the investigations wide open with the open hearings. They don't believe it.
I wonder if someone on the tour who may have video taped everything with his phone and is now cooperating with the committee. Maybe this person was involved in the attack on Jan 6th. I'm just guessing, but it's possible.

Members of the far-right Oath Keepers group allegedly exchanged messages about the safety of Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson who was also Donald Trump's former White House doctor during the chaos of the U.S. Capitol riot.
The messages, one of which said Jackson must be protected because he has "critical data," were part of a batch of newly released messages from members of the alleged Jan. 6, 2021 conspirators, according to a new court filing from one of the defendants.

(54,770 posts)by now. And, how much effort would the DOJ, FBI, etc., have to expend to check on his phone calls? Not much.
In any event, if Jackson were envolved, it will be easy to track his calls, movements, etc., before and during insurrection. If he was involved, he ain't going to avoid charges.
