The American people have a long history of sleep walking through life. They have a long history of being fooled.

WWII was two years old before the American people woke up with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Wow, I didn't know Germany and Japan are trying to take over the world. Fucking clueless. The same thing happened leading up to the civil war. The people did not have a clue. They had no idea how bloody things were about to be.

I would bet over 50% of the American people have no idea what's coming with the committee hearings and the DOJ investigations. They are sleep walking through life. It is an American tradition.

The good news is, once you wake the American people up, they do the right thing.

If you take say 30% for Republicans then throw in another 10% for independents who lean Republican then another 10% for people who are more concerned with the things like sports or reality tv or the seemingly endless supply of super hero movies you can easily get to 50%. May even be more.
