Trying to engage in debates over "what's an assault rifle?"

My definition: It's a weapon used to kill people, lots of people. Favored by weak men who are obsessed with controlling and dominating others.

Now 18 children and 3 adults are dead.

Supposedly he wasn't going to graduate from high school so he went on a rage, killed his grandmother, then drove to the elementary school. This isn't mental illness. It's easy access to killing machines used to express anger.

I mean you can't very well say someone who would do this is mentally well.
Nothing will be done obviously as long as Republicans are in office in numbers
to block meaningful regulation.

Imagine if he couldn't get his hands on guns. He'd have to express his anger in a less deadly way. Doesn't mean he's mentally ill. MOST mentally ill people are not violent. In fact, they are more likely to be victims than perpetrators.

We always say somebody has to be crazy to do these things because we can't imagine it. Sometimes all it takes is anger and an easy to get, deadly tool.

Paranoia doesn't cause someone to decide to punish others and end it all in a big way, nor does depression.
That's rage from offended pride. His fee-fees got hurt bad, so he has to punish everyone he can. The fact he bought his manly looking firearms when he could at his 18th birthday, shows he was willing to show people who was boss if he didn't get his way.
