9. I watch a lot of WWII documentaries. Some remarkable footage.

I saw some of the footage of Eisenhower and top Army brass forcing everyday Germans through the concentration camps right after the war.

You could see the well fed and well to do Germans go in and then come out.

Some of the German women especially looked like a train had hit them.
They were literally vomiting and distraught as they exited the camps.

This is exactly what needs to happen here in the US.

She was on the phone with me the whole time as she frantically tried to find shelter.

I only felt a fraction of what these parents today feel, but I can tell you it is bad, very bad.

If I could have grown wings and flown to her side, I would have taken the bullet for her in a heartbeat.

Police finally shot and killed the guy and cleared the area. I kept looking at the pictures to make sure he was really dead before I could relax.

But yes the parents are desperate to get news of their child. But the reality is that the police and hospital staff don't have answers for them.

The kids are most likely unrecognizable. That is why DNA tests are needed.
But they cannot tell the parents that I assume. Maybe they don't want the parents to see any of this.
