About arming teachers ...

This sounds like a great idea. Why inconvenience child murderers by forcing them to bring their own weapons when you can simply ensure that they're already on site?

If you're not lugging around a rifle or an automatic weapon, you don't have to deal with being spotted with one before you get into a school building - you can simply waltz in the front door, with no one being the wiser.

Besides, having guns stashed all over a building full of school kids - well, come on, what could possibly go wrong?

I'm still thinking. No one comes to mind yet.

... the Sisters of St. Joseph.

I remember that the pockets in their habits were so deep, they actually had to tilt over sideways in order to retrieve something from their bottomless depths.

I've no doubt they could hide an entire arsenal of automatic weapons in there. But given their skills with a ruler, I doubt that any other weapon would be necessary.

It was a parochial school in Queen's, NY.

They also wore a giant pair of rosary beads. The nuns scared me to death.

Now it's guns, not nuns.

And yes, I remember those rosaries!

I pity the man who would try to intimidate Sister Joseph Anita with a paltry AK-15. He'd be toast.

After all, Joseph Anita always claimed to have an 'automatic spanking machine' in her office - and the rumour was she wasn't afraid to use it.

since you can't trust anyone, anywhere, at any time, not to randomly start shooting, is to allow pulse-sensing bomb vests on all citizens, which, if no pulse is detected, explode. Better yet, why not nuclear pulse vests that take out a whole city?

Mutually Assured Destruction should be personal. The 2nd Amendment simply requires this now.

If my right to defend myself is absolute, then this way no one would dare kill me, right?

Unless they're crazy, of course.

But, no, I'm not crazy, you're the one who's crazy by trying to prevent me from defending myself!

Yes, this is absurd. But so is allowing anyone to willy-nilly buy any amount of killing devices they want.
