He really is encouraging, saying the movement to stop gun violence is stronger and more effective now than ever.

I especially liked it that he said, "The NRA wins because they show up. We have to show up, and if we do, we can get this done." His optimism is based on the effectiveness of the original March for Our Lives movement and what they accomplished in terms of legislation that got passed....

March for Our Lives, the student-led gun control advocacy group, is planning nationwide protests in the wake of the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting, according to its website.

Driving the news: The protests will take place some four years after the shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, during which a gunman killed 17 people. That shooting led to the group's founding and preceded the organization holding one of the largest demonstrations in U.S. history.

4. Yes, I saw him last night on MSNBC.

I went on-line to see if the marches were already organizing around the US. I found them quickly and posted it here on DU last night under the Activist Headquarters Forum.

I still have my protest signs from 2017. It is disgusting to think that I have to reuse my signs years later. I have my Pro Choice signs, the Supreme Court signs, ... very distressing.
