Banning books, not bullets is the GOP response to "Won't someone think of the children?!".

Looking over the history of "protecting children", it is easy to see the GOP is more worried about their guns than any actual lives of children. Now, if the topic is "radical" ideas, like Slaves weren't happy, "Indians" didn't gleefully skip to Oklahoma, or some past white people were total and complete shit-heels, then the GOP springs into action to protect the minds of children; protecting their bodies, not much concern.
