Maybe I am being too optimistic but I think their over the top abortion bans will backfire. Especially in light of the latest mass shootings and their refusal to budge on any gun reform. It further exposes their hypocrisy. It won’t change the hardcore gun nuts and abortion zealots. I do think it will turn the “independents” and some suburban women.
You can’t have it both ways, spend all this time braying about protecting unborn children, protecting kids from CRT and all that other baloney, and not have the same drive to protect kids from being gunned down.

I do think this time it will be different. I don’t think their usual tactics will work. It’s been too much, back to back mass killings of elderly and young children. This is on the back of over a million people dead from Covid.
