I'm a "news junkie" but I find myself unable to watch the news in the last few days. I switch over to sports, youtubes, or old movies instead.

It is extremely depressing.

Those were such beautiful children.

I wish we could melt down all the guns and send them into space. They are a barometer of the sickness in America.

7. This morning I found out I lost a friend in another state to cancer

and this week a family member with mental health issues got involved in a SWAT situation and will be in custody for some time, probably not getting the help he really needs (and his family suffers for it, as well).
Sometimes you just need to unplug and watch cartoons.
