Corporate welfare for the manufactures of killing machines.

Top three gun manufacturers have received more than $105 million in subsidies. Article is from 2017. I am sure it is way higher now.
America we must point out how much corporate welfare there is in this nation. Make it a huge issue. Corporate welfare is not capitalism.

All completely legal.

Corrupt politicians, greedy oligarchs.

It won't stop.

They only give a portion of the government handout.

(Worse yet, the MAGA's that begrudge people down on their luck, when they get a few bucks.)

I am sure there will be a civilian version that will sell in the 100s of thousands or millions. The reason they are going to the
6.8 mm, it is better at piercing body armor than the 5.56mm round!

subsidy amounts from 2019. Article says the totals were updated then.

Most of it was for gaining or keeping the production plants in a state. Alabama wanted the facility on its turf, and paid for it. Kentucky wanted the production facility in their state to stay in their state (with its 200 jobs).

I think of them less as subsidies and more as bribes.

The companies just move the community that gives them the most money. It is an fing scam.
My state of Pa leads the nation in corporate welfare. We lag the nation in job creation.
