Trump really wants people to think he is running in 2024 and that he's Grover Cleveland

Apparently, he thinks he is the new Grover Cleveland, only instead of winning the popular vote three times in a row, he would lose the popular vote three times in a row.

Republicans will have to look Grover Cleveland up. Wikipedia notes that "Cleveland won praise for his honesty, self-reliance, integrity...." so Republicans will have no earthly clue who he was, or what position he held in American history.

"You, sir, are no Grover Cleveland."

Anyhow, Putin has lost much of his money and Republicans have lost much of their patience, so I just don't see it.

1. I think we would do well to remember he isn't just running...

2. The GOP owns the voting machines, gerrymandering, electors, courts, etc.

So Trump could "win" an election.

If he loses, he will plan another coup.

If he loses political protection, he loses all.

Trump lost his marbles about 15 years ago. He doesn't have much left, and he knows it. He knows the seventies and eighties are gone for good, along with his looks. Donald Trump is just an empty shell of the man that was flying around in that big black helicopter and going to Studio whatever the hell it was...54? in NY.

He doesn't want to be President any more than I want to be a lion tamer in a circus. He wants attention- positive or negative- it doesn't matter.

6. I was talking with a woman yesterday who worked briefly for him in the 80's in NYC

She said he was a self entitled jerk and who was and still is an asshole.

And he was balding even then.
