Vladimir Putin 'is given three years to live by doctors' due to his 'rapidly progressing cancer'

An FSB officer described the Russian president's condition as a 'severe form of rapidly progressing cancer', as speculation ramped up that Putin was suffering with some form of serious illness amid the invasion of Ukraine.
The spy explained the wartime leader has 'no more than two to three years' left and he is also losing his sight, reports the Mirror.

News of the Russian leader's terminal illness emerged as part of a secret message from the Russian agent to fugitive and former FSB agent Boris Karpichkov.

It's possible this could be true, but Daily Mail is more likely to run with something based on questionable sources. Hopefully they have a good source on this.

https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Daily_Mail

The Daily Mail is to the UK what the New York Post is to the United States, and what the Drudge Report is to the Internet: to wit, gossipy tabloid "journalism" for those who cannot digest serious news, with a flippantly wingnut editorial stance. Like the Daily Express, it tries to appear more upmarket and respectable than the red-top British tabloids, though it does sometimes go in for the full front-page picture or headline characteristic of the populist rags. It is also notorious for its frequent harassment of individuals, campaigns of hate directed at various minorities (focusing on Muslims), and willfully deceiving and lying to its readers.

33. Cancer statistics often use an overall five-year survival rate
Sun May 29, 2022, 03:47 PM
May 2022

Survival rates are usually given in percentages. For instance, the overall five-year survival rate for bladder cancer is 77 percent. That means that of all people who have bladder cancer, 77 of every 100 are living five years after diagnosis. Conversely, 23 out of every 100 are dead within five years of a bladder cancer diagnosis.

Your doctor may be able to give you more specific statistics based on your stage of cancer. For instance, 60 percent of people diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer live for at least five years after diagnosis. The five-year survival rate for people diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer that has spread (metastasized) to other areas of the body is 6 percent.

Overall survival rates don't specify whether cancer survivors are still undergoing treatment at five years or if they've become cancer-free (achieved remission).

In any case, three years is a slow cancer.

His watershed year was 2014. That's the year his dudebro Yanukovych had to run for his life and Putins wife kicked him to the curb. He resonded by invading Crimea and Donetsk.

I think being stymiedin Ukraine has driven him bonkers, he believed ever6thing a bunch of liars were telling him and instead of regrouping after he found out it was all lies, he's trying to double down.

I honestly don't see any signs of cancer treatment. I only see a man who stayed in office too long and got lost in fantasy land, dreaming of an empire whose day is long gone.
