Ted Cruz spoke at the NRA convention and used the party line...."Only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun". I guess the law enforcement folks in Texas who stayed outside that school....were not good guys. Is that what Ted meant?

I would like to think that there are actual standards for law enforcement officials that apply as a "Dereliction of Duty" just like in the military.
