Rush Limbaugh: Frankenstorm causing $30-50 billion damage no big deal; climate change a leftist plotWhen a hurricane moves onto land, its low pressure sucks a storm surge along with it. Frankenstorm Sandy broke the record for low pressure and produced an "unprecedented 13-foot surge of seawater 3 feet above the previous record." Sandy became the largest tropical storm on record, stretching for 1100 miles and gusts up to 90 miles per hour. More than eight million are without power.
On Monday and Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh talked extensively about Hurricane Sandy's political implications. El Rushbo, the foremost mouthpiece of the small government crowd asked an astonishingly ironic question about the mega-disaster: "Folks, are we really such a Third World banana republic we can't recover from a storm in a week?"

(4,407 posts)To stick Rush out in the middle of the hurricane. Would the winds be enough to knock him over, or would they just cause the doughy mass to roll down the street? I also wonder if the hurricane would be a match for all Rush's hot air. It might be cruel and unusual to subject the hurricane to that.

(1,237 posts)The second most costly hurricane with an estimate of 50 Billion, behind Katrina which cost 100 Billion. Eight of the top ten most costly hurricanes have been within the last 10 years, and all ten within the last 20 years. Nothing to see here, its all just a hoax

(31,706 posts)...I'd love to see a hurricane slam into that fat fuck's mansion and let's see what song he sings. Wanna bet he's the first to scream "where's FREMA??"...the hypocrite. Personal tragedies mean nothing to a vampire like rushbo...suck it up, ya know. Heck, I'm all in favor of any state with a rushpublican governor and legislature to refuse government money and help...might be the fastest way we get rid of those shitstains...
