Require all sales do a background check, private or whatever.. The problem is finding a way to do it... In Oregon we pay a dealer to do it for us... It would be nice of they set up an online system to do that.

Or in Maryland it used to be to see their hql, now we have universal background checks.

I have also heard one person used to just look them up on the maryland judicary website, its public info.

Our state requires a state and federal background check on all gun sales public or private. They’d know but I’m sure they wouldn’t disclose why someone failed a check.
