It's kind of hard to tell good guys from the bad guys just by looking at them. Don't cha think?

(2,195 posts)Require all sales do a background check, private or whatever.. The problem is finding a way to do it... In Oregon we pay a dealer to do it for us... It would be nice of they set up an online system to do that.

(453 posts)Or in Maryland it used to be to see their hql, now we have universal background checks.
I have also heard one person used to just look them up on the maryland judicary website, its public info.

(38 posts)Our state requires a state and federal background check on all gun sales public or private. Theyd know but Im sure they wouldnt disclose why someone failed a check.
