Stories that focused on the costs of war, the "invisible" wounds, the continuing costs veterans and their families experience, the particular heroism of combat medics in Vietnam, women who served in WWII, and Desert Storm/Shield veterans (as well as the those who stepped up to serve in the wake of 911, and paid terrible costs in Iraq and Afghanistan) were deeply touching.

The whole presentation was very well organized, moving, informative.

There were many references to the sacrifices of service members so that "Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth". It was a subtle but meaningful reminder that democracy in America is under threat today.

They did our service members proud.

appreciatively,
Bright
