14. The name hurricane is given to Atlantic, Eastern Pacific and sometimes Central Pacific storms.

I've heard of hurricanes in Hawaii. They are not common, but they are called hurricanes in that region.

They are called Typhoons in the North West Pacific and Cyclones in the Southern Pacific and Indian Oceans.
