Here's a weird but effective way to find out if it's truly because people are "deranged"

Cannibalism. I'm not talking about the Donner Party or your plane crashing in the Andes and you eat the dead kind of cannibalism. I'm talking about you have a fridge full of non-human-based food and you decide to feast on something a little more sapient.

What kind of mind would do something like that?

A very sick mind, right? You'd have to be deranged, right?

And yet, there were only a handful of acts of cannibalism perpetrated in the United States in the 2010s.

And then here's the list of school shootings from that same time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States

Times higher.

There has to be a reason for this disparity. Something in our culture takes minds and says "DO THIS" and they do it with a gun.

And that means "It's the guns"

(And if we had as many acts of cannibalism as we have school shootings, we'd have a national emergency right now)

What if we celebrated cops who ate the people they killed?

What if there were television shows and movies glorifying these cannibal cops?

Would the bad guys start eating their victims as well?

I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk? I'm thinking you'd go well with a nice chianti.

Personally I leave the eating of bad guys to my dragon Spot. Sometimes I find half digested guns in his poop.

Other people may associate with Flerken.
