Using fire logic to control mass shootings.

The fire triangle has 3 elements. Fuel, heat and air. Remove any one of those and a fire won't burn. Mass shootings have 4 elements: gun, ammunition, shooter and target. The gun-humpers focus on eliminating the target with 'hardened doors' and 'more security'. This is absurd due to cost and fact anyone can be a target anywhere, anytime. The focus should be on the 3 things we can control: gun, ammo and shooter. Ideally, we would ban all assault weapons, and severely restrict access to other guns. No gun, no shoot. Secondarily we can ban high-capacity magazines and place limits on ammo purchases. No bullets, no dead. Lastly, we can limit the shooter through background checks, red-flag laws, and age restrictions. All sensible measures. All blocked by corrupt GOPers. Sadly, simple logic fails in face of propaganda.

Sad time for this country when people have to think of ways to prevent mass shootings. LoisB Jun 2022 #7

Republicans are willing to risk mass shootings because they want their people to be well armed for the civil war that so many of them promote. Or, for the next insurrection if their candidate does not win.

so anyone can turn anyone into their local police if they suspect a individual might be a mass shooter.
Make the local police go out and talk to the person.
