Tonight on Twitter and MSM was all the news on how the Repugs will be intimidating voters, sending goon squads, all this directed towards Democratic districts and voters. Will this scare good people away from voting? Is this the point? Because as far as I know voter intimidation is a crime.

I also dealt for several years with an old poll worker who was absolutely evil to anyone younger than her. I nicknamed her Helga the Voting Nazi. After reporting her two or three times, she no longer works our precinct..if she’s even still alive. She’d have to be well into her 90s by now.

8. i live in FL in a very mixed district.

Mine could easily be targeted by the new fascist poll watchers and Death Sentences' personal police force. I'm old and white so should escape harassment, but just the thought of this happening around me makes me sick. I will vote and vote early to ensure my vote counts. There were no issues at my precinct in 2018 when I was a poll watcher and I saw no disturbance when I early voted in 2020 and 2022. If something happened and I couldn't get to the polls for early voting, I'd go on election day, in the middle of the day to avoid crowds or if I knew early enough would vote by mail. I have voted D in every election since I was 18 and WILL continue this trend.
