Truly evil, especially on this night of all things. Read that tweet. I think that's about as clear an indication that you will ever get that Moscow Mitch will not allow any legislation in response to Uvalde to pass. Got to please his NRA aka Russian masters after all.
Also noteworthy, that he torpedos action just a day after the bipartisan talks were supposed to start lol. They don't even hide their evil nature anymore.
Hey Joe Manchin, how's that "bipartisanship" working out for ya??
Edit: Note the callousness, dismissiveness and evil just emanating from that tweet, as well.

Everyone knows MoscowMitch isn't serious about forming a bipartisan committee. I didn't realize he was still in charge of the Senate.

(15,036 posts)"These bipartisan negotiations are too important to be treated lightly on a talk show," he'll claim. "We need to keep focused on what needs to be done."
And there it will lie until it dies, and he'll quietly move on to the next obfuscation. It's what they do, all too well.

(10,053 posts)fro the NRA. He is McConnell's smoke screen. This has always been bullshit and I cannot believe any democrat would take him seriously or really any of the republicans. Just stop, they are not serious about any gun restrictions at all.

(6,699 posts)He is smart enough to know gun restrictions contrary to nra wishes weren't going anywhere.
Look at U.K, Canada, New Zealand, Australia....they work for the citizens when it comes to common sense gun control. We are OWNED by the gQp and nra. Hopeless unless we get 12 more Democratic Senators.
Don't count on manchin or sinema. Worthless as the cult.

(5,270 posts)The gun issue has been one of their primary wedge issues proven to work successfully for Repubs ever since the 1994 assault weapons ban passed and they don't want to give it up.
