Supreme Court to decide whether businesses may refuse LGBTQ couples for same-sex wedding services

WASHINGTON – Cindy Wilker, a retired Marine who jokingly describes herself as an "angry old lesbian," isn’t easily offended – or pushed around.

But the 62-year-old Floridian was dumbstruck when a florist declined to sell her roses she hoped to buy for the woman she has loved for decades. She left the shop in tears.

"When she realized who they were for I could see that it was not going to happen. She said, 'What are you?'" Wilker recalled. "Every time now when I walk into a store I wonder, are they going to say something? Are they going to embarrass me?"

Seven years after the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in a watershed civil rights case, business owners and LGBTQ rights groups remain locked in a battle over whether businesses that sell goods and services to the public may reject LGBTQ couples as customers based on religious objections – particularly when matrimonial services for same-sex weddings are involved.

We don't sell flowers for second weddings if first spouse is still alive.

Jesus said some significant things about divorce and adultery for second marriages.

Whether it goes 5-4 or 6-3 against us. Because a twice impeached orange dwarf planet who thinks "covfefe" is a word got to select 1/3 of the now-Extreme Court of the United States.

I'm not looking forward to the result of this or many other cases in the near future.

Object to homosexual activity? Then don't do it.

Selling flowers is not homosexual activity. How hard is this to understand?

Oh, and how is it that these invariably "Christian" people figure that homosexuality is the only sun out there? Aren't we all born of original sin according to Christians? Yet they can sell flowers to all us sinners, just not these one particular type of sinners.

Also, here's a conversation I'd love to see in court: ok, mr. Flower seller, how exactly do you know that this customer engages in homosexual activity? I believe all she said was she's marrying another woman. What evidence do you have that they will or have engaged in homosexual activity? Sexual activity is not required to get married or stay married. So, where is your evidence of this alleged "sin" which you base your decision to refuse this customer?

I like how people will put their religious horseshit over making a profit for a business you would own and need money to run. I wouldn't give my money to any bigoted POS like this. But fucking the SCROTUS. Hope Thomas or Alito die ASAP. They need to for the better of the country.
