It supports GOP MAGA talking points. I realize the OP is a relative assessment, but still the takeaway is the graphic.

They must remind the voters that the President is not responsible for the rise or fall of gas prices, but they do not want to keep it too much out front as an issue. The more it is focused upon, the more difficult it is for Democrats to respond. They need to be repetitive with their point that the President is not responsible for high gas prices, but they do not need to be too repetitive. It is fine-line messaging.

the whole town does. I have said a few times Biden is not responsible. but it has not sunk in. It is a hard issue to let go by at times

Chuck Schumer held press conferences at gas stations in 2018 blaming Trump for it being $3 per gallon. Both Obama and Bush were blamed as well for when prices rose during their tenure.

is not going to give a damn about what other countries pay. The prices are eating into their budgets more then it has before and that is all they are going to care about.

Almost all of the nations with higher prices are due to high gas taxes. Just as bad.

In some countries it is a few dollars per gallon in additional taxes.
